These soft, cozy organic merino wool overalls for babies are lightweight yet very warm.  The footed romper keeps baby's feet cozy all the time and are wonderful for newborns and young babies who tend to lose their socks.  The overalls are nice as pajamas with the option to layer underneath, and they are also nice for layering while baby is out and about, in a carrier or stroller, since the legs will not slide up and baby's feet and legs will stay warm.  Merino wool is breathable, soft and pleasant next to the skin, absorbs moisture without feeling damp, retains warmth very well, and does not require frequent laundering. 

Ruskovilla has been manufacturing environmentally friendly textiles in Finland since 1981.    They are deeply committed to quality during every phase of production;  from the raw materials to the finished product, the company takes people and environment into consideration. 

The wool is ethically produced organic merino wool from Argentina and Uruguay and is produced according to the criteria of IVN (Internationaler Verband der Naturtextilwirtschaft e.V.). The yarn is spun by a German spinnery, and it is certified by IMO (Institute for Marketecology).  The spinnery uses as few synthetic chemicals as possible for dying woollen yarn. The dying process takes place in closed system with the use of reactive dyes causing the fibres to react completly with the dye and preventing the dyes from running. Therefore, reactive dyes are safer option for garments that are in direct contact with the skin. No chrome dyes or heavy metal salts are used in the organic production process. Any harmless auxiliary products that are indispensible in the dyeing process are flushed out in the post-dyeing rinsing process. 

Made in Finland.  

Care:  Hand wash and lay flat to dry.  Wool does not soil easily and does not retain odors, so it does not need to be washed very frequently. Please refer to our Wool Care guide for more details, and don't forget your wool care products.

This is a gorgeous 100 % organic merino wool romper in natural off-white color with adjustable shoulder straps with two different size snaps (about 2.5 inches apart). So soft, warm, and woolly! Top-notch quality! Reinforced piece (double layer of wool) from knees to toes and feet keeps baby’s feet warm. I purchased it in size 70 cm for my second child when he was 6 month old baby. I wish I had it for my first one too. We use it every night as pajamas with a cotton coverall underneath. Even though my child has a mild eczema, his skin isn’t irritated by it even if his feet are in direct contact with the wool. I love this romper so does my son. It is easy for him to move around in the crib in it. Sleeping bag won’t give such flexibility. I won’t imagine how would I keep my child warm without it. Blankets aren’t safe for babies yet. My baby is 9 month old now, and the woolen romper with feet is perfect for him. We still use the furthest snaps in adjustable shoulders. It means there’s a room to grow. We will wear this amazing woolen romper for a while. Easy hand wash with Eucolan, looks like new all the time. I’d like to suggest Little Spruce organics to bring Ruskovilla Rompers without feet too. I’ll be the first one to buy one. Highly recommend Little Spruce Organics and all the brands they sell. Thanks!
