Made by Engel,  these leggings are a high quality blend of 70% organic Merino virgin wool and 30% mulberry silk, certified organic by the International Association Natural Textile Industry (IVN) and the Global Organic Textile Standard.  The Merino sheep are organically raised without the use of pesticides on neither pastures nor animals.    

Made in Germany      

Care: For best results, hand wash with a gentle detergent and lay flat to dry.  Wool garments are naturally antibacterial and do not retain dirt or odors quickly, so you do not need to wash this garment frequently.  Be sure to air this garment regularly. merino wool leggings with lace

Fabulous light-midweight leggings

I love the silk wool combo for not as cold nights (sleeping) or less warmth under chore pants. These stretch out a little bit, but not too much. Super soft and should be durable. I chose the size 40 as I didn't want too much stretching on the knees, etc since I wear them a lot for all kinds of things. (I'm 5'2" and 125#, athletic build - size 6 in pants).
