We love these shirts! They are very soft, comfortable, and warm without overheating. I got these for my 4 year old because we have a new baby in the house and I was sick of constantly doing laundry because her cotton shirts and pants went in the wash after every wearing (she’s very particular about the slightest odor). She now has 3 wool shirts and 2 wool pants and neatly hangs them up at the end of each day to air out. She’s happy with the variety and I’m happy to hand wash one or less of her garments per week. My daughter normally wears 4T, but we got the 5-6 years size, which fits her well enough now, but with extra length to grow into and hopefully last through next year as well!

I love all the color options, and this shirt feels like top quality in its construction. I purchased back in November for my almost-4-year-old to wear as an underlayer at his Waldorf- and forest-school-inspired preschool, as it can get quite cold in the winter where I live, and the children will go outside for long periods of time even when it's 15 degrees out. Sadly, while my son agreed to try to the shirt on, he has since refused to wear it.... He says it itches him a bit and doesn't feel as soft as his other shirts. I don't personally find the shirt to be itchy, and it feels quite soft to me -- but my son is VERY sensitive about how his clothes fit and feel. Knowing how my son can't stand tight-fitting clothes, I purchased a size up. My son just turned 4, and I got the size 116 (5-6 years), and I was pleased that it was a bit roomier -- but my son didn't swim in it. I think the size would work well to still fit under t-shirts or other over-layers and yet not be too constricting, IF my son would ever agree to wear it. This is just a matter of his personality, his general ongoing clothing aversion (he still prefers to wear mostly nothing but a t-shirt inside the house) and his sensitivity to how clothes feel on him. I think this shirt would make a great underlayer -- especially if your child is more open to new clothes. I'm crossing my fingers I'll be able to try again this coming fall and winter, and maybe he'll have grown into a different state of mind.

Love it. I got one for my son and he wears it under t-shirts. It's thin and lightweight but still warm which will allow his to wear his t-shrirts into the winter and I don't have to get a whole bunch of long sleeved shirts that he can only wear for a few months in winter. It isn't bulky at all under his shirts and falls nicely. I got Size: 116 (5-6 yrs) for my 5 year old and I would say it's pretty true to size. It will fit him for a while but isn't too big. Would love to get more.
