This is just what I was looking for in terms of material and function. I love that it is pure healthy wool and silk. The optional fold over feet are very nice for crawling or walking babies. However I find it to be very short in the arms. The seams around the wrist irritate my baby’s skin. He also has irritation at the shoulders so perhaps it’s just a bit too scratchy even with the loop terry on the inside. This is always a possibility with wools. Overall, I think if I sized up he could wear it better as an overall, over a gentler base layer. Still a very good option for untreated wool maybe as a second layer.

We love this suit. It's adorable, very practical, and well made. Our daughter wears it every night over her pajamas and inside her sleep sack. Keeps her super warm in an old house during cold Minnesota winters. She has also worn it as a second layer during the day since we got it a few months ago. During the fall it was her outside outfit and now that it is winter it goes on before her snow suit. She is toasty warm and happy on long winter walks. Sizing seems fine for us. Our daughter is 12 months, but tall. She is wearing the 1/2 and she has a bit of room to grow so it seems like it will make it through the spring. Will definitely order a 3/4 for next year. The material is nice and does not seem to pill. Still looks great after tons of use.

I bought this to be a base layer, but I think it would be a better second layer. The inside is a loop material like terry. At first I wasn't sure what to think of the fabric, but I really like it now. The silk and wool are a good combination and it feels cool and comfortable.
We got green and it looks as pictured, but has a sheen to it and almost has a jewel tone. Unlike the other reviews, our's is not see through and it does not have wide hips on my son. It does not have super long legs and arms with a short torso.
My son is one. He has a long torso and short legs. He is wearing 2T now, and I roll up the pants.
We ordered the 86/92 because he is only 32 inches. This fits him well, has a little room in the width of the torso and the length of the torso and legs is good, but there isn't much room for growth and the neck fits him too high and tight. I'm going to return it. I haven't decided if I will order the next size up.
