These wool/silk long underwear pants are smooth & soft next to the skin, making them excellent as a base layer or pajama bottoms. For added comfort, these pants do not have side seams. They have small cuffs at the ankles. The natural temperature regulating properties of both wool and silk make these long johns a great choice for any time of year. These make an excellent base layer for exploring outdoors- the perfect accessory for a camping or hiking trip.

Made by Living Crafts of Germany, these pants are a blend of 70% organic virgin wool and 30% mulberry silk and are very suitable for anyone with allergies or with sensitive skin.

This garment is certified organic by the International Association of the Natural Textile Industry (IVN), Demeter, and meets the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Living Crafts' organic wool comes from Australian merino sheep wool and is produced in accordance with organically certified dynamic farming- it is shorn by hand and processed without the use of chemicals. The mulberry silk grown in India is blended with the natural wool at a later stage. All fabric dyes are made without heavy metals or formaldehydes.

silk wool children;'s clothing

I was a bit dubious when I ordered your silk and wool tops and bottoms for my two grandchildren, ages 6 and 3. They both have very sensitive skin and the 6 year old girl is extremely fussy about what she will or won't wear. I am gratified to find that they both love their silk wool layers and prefer them over other clothing.

Lovely colors and quality -- just wish my son would wear them!

I love the colors and the quality of these wool-silk long johns, which I purchased for my almost-4-year-old son to wear as underlayers at his Waldorf- and forest-school-based preschool, as the winter temperatures where I live can get quite cold.

My son agreed to try them on, but has since refused to wear them, sadly. He says they didn't feel as soft as his other pants -- even though I personally felt the material of these long johns to be quite soft.

My son is quite sensitive to how his clothes fit and feel, however. So don't judge whether to buy this product based on our experience. Since the long johns are plenty roomy, I'm hoping I can try them again this coming autumn and winter.

Pink soft wool long johns are a hit!

Our daughter LOVES the pink stripes and feel of this brands long johns top and bottoms. I purchased size 128 for my 45-46" tall 42 pound 6 yr old. She has long legs so we sized up. The waist was wide on her (narrow waisted) like most brands without the adjustable waist band. We usually just adjust the waist for this is a typical leggin issue for her. The legs fit great with room to grow just as we were looking for. The quality was better than expected plus these are at an affordable price for wool/silk. We will order more of this brand in pinks as needed.
