I spent a long time looking for a sweater on this website and wanted to try something different from my previous purchase. But now I think I will purchase the next size up of what i already had, because this sweater really is THICK. I guess the description says it's fleece, but I wish LSO would be a bit more descriptive in indicating the thickness. I would go so far as to say I would not put my baby into a carseat in it because it's more like a jacket and carseat best practice is to cover a young child over the straps with a blanket, if needed for warmth, rather than layers under the straps. The other thing is, it's absolutely huge. I purchased 86/92 for a baby that's about to turn 1 - 19+ lbs and 29 inches, thinking there will be plenty to grow into, but at this point, it will be months before she can fit into the sweater. When my average sized 5 year old holds it up to his body, it looks like it could almost fit him. The sweater has pretty wool buttons and the ocean color is pretty, just as pictured. I am going to keep this sweater, hoping that the season is right when my baby finally grows into it, but I was really hoping for something less thickness than a jacket and something she can wear now. As always, a pleasant experience shopping with LSO and a quick delivery.

This is the thickest wool product I have ever purchased. I was looking for a very warm, soft sweater and this exceeded my expectations. This could probably be used as a coat/jacket because of how incredibly thick this sweater is.
