This lovely sleepsack features warm boiled wool on the outside and soft, extra-fine organic cotton on the inside, combining the best of both natural fibers.  The outer layer, made of soft new boiled organic Merino wool, provides plenty of warmth without overheating.  Wool is excellent at keeping your baby's temperature consistent; your baby will never be too warm or too cold while wearing it.  The organic cotton lining is very soft and smooth against your baby's skin, giving your baby a comfortable night of sleep.  

A long zipper in the front of the sleep sack allows it to be opened wide, so you can easily place your baby inside, even while sleeping.  

This sleep sack is very unique because it is made from disana's boiled wool, which is a very special natural fabric.  Boiled wool is soft and light, so it is very comfortable for babies to wear.  Boiled wool also protects against cold, is almost entirely windproof, and balances hot and cold temperatures.  When wool is boiled, thousands of tiny air bubbles are trapped in by the material, forming an entirely natural barrier against hot and cold temperatures.  The result is a fabric that keeps your baby snug and dry while letting your baby's skin breathe.

Sizing:  We have estimated the approximate age range for each size as follows.  Please keep in mind that all babies vary in size, so it is important to base your selection on the actual length of the sleep sack, which we have measured from the back collar down to the bottom edge of the sleep sack.  If you need more specific measurements, please contact us!  

Size 1: 0-6 mo  (measures 23" in length); Chest width 10.5"

Size 2: 6-18 mo (measures 29.75" in length); Chest width 11.5"

Size 3: 18 mo- 3 yrs (measures 37" in length); Chest width 12.5"

Care:  Boiled wool articles are easy to care for.  It should be cleaned very gently by hand.  The lanolin contained in wool protects the fabric from dirt and harsh environments.  If your boiled wool article does get dirty, you can shake or brush the dirt out very carefully.  If the boiled wool becomes stinky, just leave the article out overnight to air out, or in the bathroom while you shower (the humidity from the shower will help foul smells to disappear and will smooth out wrinkles).  If you do need to wash boiled wool, just wash by hand in tepid water using a mild wool wash.  Do not wring, squeeze, or rub wool.  Lay flat to dry.  You can read more here about wool care.  Don't forget your wool care products!
