Made by Engel, this jacket is made from 100% organic virgin Merino wool fleece. This wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cozy against baby's sensitive skin. The Merino sheep are organically raised without the use of pesticides on neither pastures nor animals.

I love this fleece. It is warm, but breathable; soft and not super scratchy. I generally wear a size 4 (I am 5'6" and a 34A bra size, generally a size S in pants), and ordered the Size 38/40. It generally fits, though the upper arms are quite large/boxy for some reason. I think it's OK, though, as it allows for layering and cozying up. It does shed a bit--lots of wool fragments clung to my black cotton pants after wearing the fleece for a few hours--but maybe that will settle down with time and use. Feels great knowing it's 100% natural and no toxic nylon or polyester!

I can't wait for winter to come to the Pacific Northwest now that I have this beautifully made wool jacket. I love it and would purchase it again.

I live in the mountains of Australia, and since my favourite jacket by a New Zealand manufacturer was dis-continued, I've been seeking a warm, thick wool fleece jacket. Well here it is, arrived nicely within 5 days. Excellent quality, it is warm, cosy, a good length - not too long or too short. In short, I am very, very happy and pleased that I not only found you, but that I did not compromise on something synthetic. Will order again, in a different colour as I wear my current one from fall to spring. This is jacket is everything the others are not - warm, thick wool and nice colour range.
