At first these pants were snug on my baby boy but then once he reached 3 months he again fit in them! Exclusively breast fed and he got longer and thinned out. Now he’s 5 months and about 20 lbs so I’m ordering next size up. Does fit true to size once baby is not bloated. My son would wear these almost every time we went out. Cozy and stylish! Blue color is gorgeous.

The material is thin, but it insulates well. The waistband and cuff are well made, even though our baby is only 6 month, this works for her, and plenty of room for her to grow into.

Engel never disappoints. Nice and thick pants for cold Canadian winters. The curry/mustard yellow is a little on the green side (compared to their organic merino wool/silk bodysuit), but gorgeous nonetheless.

I bought the 3-6month sizes in red and blue for my 2 month old. He has worn them since a few weeks old when they basically worked as a swaddle. They're still roomy and i hike them up to his chest. That's nice since it keeps him even warmer. The red is such a lovely cherry and perfect for the holidays. Super soft, they dry quick and the waist band is nice and flexible. The cosilana ones had a much more restrictive waistband so we couldn't use them.

These are lovely, soft, lightweight wool pants. I feel like they will keep my baby comfortable all winter long, even in our drafty old house in upstate NY. My 4 month old son is small for his age and thin (not quite 13 lbs yet), so the 3-6 month size fits him, but with plenty of room to grow. The waist panel comes right up to his armpits and keeps his core warm, with the snug ankles keep his socks on without being too tight. And he’s just too cute with these pants on. The wool repels moisture and odors, so even with a lot of spitting up going on right now, I generally just wipe them off immediately with a dry or occasionally damp cloth, and therefore rarely need to wash.

Bought the yellow which is a beautiful sunshiny yellow-just as pictured. Bought 6-12 month size and while they are big on my 3 month old (can pull them up to her armpits) they are not overly huge. She will wear them all winter, and I love that they actually cover her chest right now. One of those garments that actually grows with the child with fold over waist and cuffs. These are light weight, soft, and we just love the feel of these cuddly pants. They are so calming even to the adults holding the baby.

Very beautiful in yellow color and amazingly soft! I saw another review saying the yellow color was muted. Ours is really beautiful golden yellow. Pretty much like the picture. Very nicely designed waist area that isn't tight, but holds well on the baby nonetheless. Highly recommend.

These are lightweight, airy wool, loose and stretchy - a nice weight for moderately warm spring/fall weather when you still want pants on your baby ;) The cut is wonderful, the stretchy high waist, long cuffs and ample room mean that they fit for a long, long time without bulk and even the biggest cloth bum is no sweat (they are, however, no kind of diaper cover!). My baby is currently 7mo, 23.5lbs, 28.5" long, wears 18m clothes, and the 62/68 size still fits him nicely; I statted putting them on him at 3mo when he was wearing 6m clothes. They are soft, but not the softest wool I've ever felt - a child with very sensitive skin might not like it. The color on the yellow is a bit muted, more "dried zinnia" than "brilliant marigold."

Purchased these pants in sunshine yellow with matching hibiscus/sunshine yellow shirt. They are beautifully made (soft wool, trim, quality workmanship) but I really did not like the colors (particularly the yellow- very bright mustardy color). Even though we'd probably only be using these for bedtime, we will be exchanging them for a different color in the same brand as Engel makes great wool clothes! Also, the top seems true to size but pants appear to run more on the larger size (good for cloth diapering) so I may size up on the shirt to get more wear out of them.
