We have used these nappies through two children and now on our third baby. We have tried organic cotton prefolds and snap fitteds, and kept coming back to these for ease of fit and versatility. These are the only one size fits all diapers that actually work that way, from newborn all the way up to 18 months. By which time we generally have potty training down and switch to padded panties. They save you the expense of buying a bunch of different sizes of fitteds. These also contain breastmilk poop better than most due to the fabric texture. And they fit great under the Disana or Ruskovilla wool nappy covers!
We also do EC, and while they can be tricky to get off quickly, once you work out a system for yourself they are just as fast as snaps. And honestly snaps are a pain to get on with a squirming fussing baby…the tie is much easier. Do the ties get tangled in the dryer? Yes, but that’s about the only downside. Recommended.

I purchased a pack of five to try these out. While, my baby is not yet born, I tried these out on my daughter’s reborn doll. I can easily adjust any leg gaps and curl in at the legs to prevent leaking. They are so soft, of excellent quality, and look like they would be very comfortable. The fact that they can literally work for a newborn all the way up through potty training makes these very affordable and sustainable cloth diapering options. I will be back to purchase about four more packs when I get closer to my due date.

It took me awhile to learn how to fold these without them being too bulky on my two month old but now these, paired with a wool cover, are my favorite cloth diaper for at home.

We've used these since our little one was about a week old, and still at nine weeks, they're all we use. They're a little challenging to get tight on a fussy baby, but otherwise, we couldn't be happier.
One thing I'll mention is that we don't have a dryer, and drying on the line doesn't bring them back to their original fluffy, stretchy state. Washing is super easy, though (we do a cold wash followed by a hot sanitizing wash, and they're holding up beautifully - no shrinkage that I'm aware of), and they dry in no time hanging outside or in front of a fan.
For reference, we started off with three packs of three and got by fine, but I ended up buying another pack and now don't have to do laundry every day, which is totally worth it for me.

great natuaral diapering system, easy to use and clean. I combine it with wool liners and works fantastic. These are not so easy to find in US so love the fact that this store has it in stock.

I wanted to buy these diapers for a long time. Finally I did now that my child is 1 year old. I should have done it sooner because they are really good. The reason I bought them now: I was always worry about the snappi getting lose and hurting my baby, It happened a couple of times by accident and it was painful. Now that she is moving much more, the chances are bigger than the snappi get lose, I thought. I decided to try this Disana Tie Nappy. You need a little bit of practice to tie it up well, but no problem. You need to wash them 5 times to break them through, this is really true. In general really awesome, comfortable, adaptable,safe diapers that allow lost of freedom in the hips for my baby to move around at ease.

I LOVE, LOVE THESE! These tie nappies are by far my favourite style of cloth cover. Very soft, squishy, stretchy, and quite easy to put on after you get the hang of the technique. I use these with cotton flats and Disana disposable inserts. I have 6 of these on rotation, mixed with a few other types of covers, and if I could I'd get rid of all my other cloth and just use these! I'd say having at least 9 of these would be sufficient, if you wash often. Sometimes I do not put a wool cover over these, but wets do leak through so I typically use mine with Ruskovilla wool short nappy pants and Disana wool covers for naps, and the Engel merino nappy pants for day.

I used this tie nappy to create an epic nighttime diaper, which we call "the terduckin" because it's a microfiber insert wrapped in a cotton/bamboo prefold encased in the cotton tie nappy, all sealed up with a waterproof cover. I didn't really believe my heavy wetter could make it to morning without using a disposable, but this did the trick!
Drawbacks are that it might take a few tries to get the hang of the fold-tie-cuff maneuver necessary for a good fit, and if you wash a bunch of them together the ties can get mighty tangled.

I absolutely LOVE these organic cotton tie nappies. It's super stretchy and soft and fits beautifully on my baby. No leaks ever and contains messes very well. These are my favorite cotton diapers. It took me a few tries to perfect the art of tying the diaper. But once I figured it out, its so easy and quick to these on my baby. My husband tied it perfectly the first try and he loves to use them on our baby too.
These pair perfectly with the Engel organic wool merino cover for a leakproof diaper at night.

i bought these to try in our one-year-old as we will be on vacation hand washing diapers for a week in September. Our mother ease fitters seemed like they might be difficult to get clean by hand and take a long time to dry. I'm very happy with the secure and comfortable fit these give; Snug on the leg with no elastic cutting into my son's generous thighs. They are lovely with a wool cover, I have many hand knit but also some Störkenkinder ones that I really love. Prewashing is key though, I tried to get away with 3 washes and the pees just went right through .4-5 at a minimum for absorbency I would say.

I have all types of diapers- prefolds, all in ones, pocket, fitted, etc. All have their best uses.
None of them mold to the baby's little bum like these knit nappy's. These are by far the most comfortable diaper out there.
Pretty easy to put on, once you've get a system. Not much issue with the strings tangling.
MUST wash 4-5 times before they are truly absorbent, though. Otherwise they leak like nobodys business.
We use them at night, with a hemp insert, and a wool liner. The Disana wool cover works beautifully with these.
Ordering more!

Our family has been using the tie knappy on our two boys (ages 2yrs and 6mo) for around 4 months now, and we are really happy.
With the difference in age obviously comes size, but I couldn't be more happy with how this truly is a one-size option. My boys have been exceptional at blowing out other cloth diapers, but blowouts have virtually become a thing of the past because of the ability to really get a good fit.
Like another reviewer said, getting a good fit does take a bit of getting used to, but once you've got it, they are great.
The ONLY reasons I didn't give these 5 stars is because 1)the ties tend to get tangled in my washer and dryer, and it is a bit of a hassle to untangle them, and 2) I have to explain and demonstrate to babysitters/ grandparents how to use them, as just looking at them it isn't self- explanatory.
All that said, we are still VERY satisfied with our knappies.

It took me a couple of diaper changes to get it right but I am glad I didn't give up. I love these for my grandson. I always used pins and flats with my own children. I tried the snappys and just didn't care for them at all. Went back to the pins, then I tried these and I love them. At 21/2 he is a wiggler so it was tough the first couple of times but now he cooporates and kind of lifts his bum up for me to cross the ties behind him I guess he likes the comfort and softness of them too.

Have been exclusivly using fitted diapers under the disana wool covers. I really love this combination but was nervous about the snappy and they took forever to dry in the dryer-not very environmentally friendly or economical. Then I started using these magical diapers. They are just as great as the fitteds. There is no need for a snappy because of the ties, and they dry really fast in the dryer. They are also super adorable, soft and cozy! I use the hemp baby kicks inserts with them and they are more trim then fitteds for daytime and just as absorbant for nightitme. LOVE!

I love these, conceptually and aesthetically mostly. They are so soft, relatively good absorbency with the right stuffing (i.e., we use one prefold trifolded on the inside), and absolutely adorable/chic (not sure there are a more fashion forward cloth diaper out there). In terms of functionality, I am on the fence about these, especially with regard to 1) getting them on (probably easier for younger babies but definitely gets easier with practice; not babysitter/daddy proof- husband won't go near these); and 2) cleaning off EBF poo (hoping it will be easier when poo is solid but for now I throw an easy wash liner on top as well to make clean-up a little easier and pre-soak immediately after a diaper change to avoid staining).

amazing! i wish i could go back in time and ONLY USE THESE DIAPERS FOREVER! we use them stuffed with random cloth diaper pads under a disana wool soaker. we are knew to wool and this was the first thing we tired for our first nighttime cloth diaper adventure on our almost two year old daughter (second child). we've never done cloth at night before cuz i didn't know what to do! did some research and am thrilled with these, they hold everything in so nicely and they are kind of wicking/water proof themselves. so, if we have to buy anything new in the future, i would highly recommend these!

I just received these yesterday in the mail and I loved how soft they were right out of the packaging!Even after a good wash they are still super soft and they absorb great! I love how they look on my 19 month old daughter. I just wish I had tried these sooner!

I've always used the Disana wool covers with flats, and decided to give these a try. So far, with a folded flat for a pad and Disana wool cover, I've had 3 massive leaks out of three tries, and they seem shifty. I'll give them some practice, because I want to like them, and everyone else seems to have it figured out :)

They are very soft and breathable, just seems a little loose on the legs to actually retain moisture. We plan on using them with prefolds underneath or just using them for some home comfort!

I've given these tie nappies a couple of weeks of use on my 15mo before reviewing them. It has took me a couple of tries to figure them out, but I find myself reaching for them more and more at diaper changes.
Pros - natural fibers, no snappis/pins (love!), easy to clean and dry, cute-cute-cute, effective, customizable absorbency.
Cons - once or twice I've had to undo a pee-saturated tie, but, honestly pee doesn't really phase me that much as long as it's not in the carpet or anything - I'm going to be washing my hands anways, right? Also, the front panel connected to the ties has stretched a little bit (hopefully doesn't become a big issue down the road, but for now it doesn't bother me a whole lot). Obviously, they take some practice, but they're fun once you get the hang of it.
On other websites I have seen people mention that these have been tricky to wash/dry because the ties get tangled, but I haven't experienced this. Maybe it's only because I'm washing at most three with other diapers, but it's been low stress.
Bottom line - I feel like these are definitely worth the time and money. I will definitely be buying a few more!

Love these cloth diapers. So easy to use and size can be adjusted for baby's age. I haven't had a single leak using these and a liner inside.

I think I agree that I might choose these as the one diaper I would use. I wish I would have taken the plunger sooner! I haven't tried them with EBF poo, but that would be the deciding factor. They are terrifically soft, beautiful and just so well made!

This product is great, it has a slight learning curve to get a good fit, but I feel like that is to be expected. When they arrived, I was really surprised how soft these are. The fit is great, mo read marks like other cloth diapers and my daughter seemed to really enjoy wearing these. I would definitely recommend this product and will be using these for my next child as well!

If I could go back to the very beginning of my cloth diapering journey with my now seven year old child I would only use these diapers. I bought these for my third and fourth children. They are VERY soft. They fit my 8 month old, my 3 year old, and my friends newborn. No leaks, no blow outs. The ties take about a week to get good at tying on a wiggly baby. I recommend watching the videos to gain the best understanding of how to best tie on the diaper. Additionally because they are one layer they dry much faster than even my prefolds. You do need a booster with them for older babies. I use prefolds that I already had.
