We have bought Disana Jackets for our older two but so fun to purchase our one year old his own tiny version. These are just the best jackets. I know he’ll be so warm and cozy this winter!

We ordered a jacket in plum for our 9-month-old. It is a beautiful color and nicely made, and keeps her warm. I like how the potentially scratchy parts are lined, the sleeves roll up well, and the jacket comes down extra far over her bum. I only wish I had one myself!

I love how soft this wool jacket is, and the fact it’s organic wool. There’s a wide selection of vibrant colors we love (as well as the dark grey). They keep my baby and children very warm! I will be buying these for my children for many years to come!

I love this color and the quality is fantastic. I bought a size up hoping it will fit my son for two years and it should work out just fine. The sleeves roll up easily.

We bought this coat (and the pants, too) when our son was 20 months old. We got the 2-3 T size so it would last. Because the fabric is light and flexible it's easy to cuff up and it fit just fine. Much less awkward, even so big, than a traditional snowsuit. Worked well that first winter, and the next for our very active outdoor kid in Maine. He was always warmer than his friends, too. I washed and re-lanolized at the end of last season to put aside for my second son, but was thrilled to see it still will work this winter for our 3 1/2 -4 year old. He's in the 80% for height but the coat is fine and the pants we just sewed an extra few inches to the strap. Great value given that this kid's gotten three winters out of it and I'm sure his little brother will get three more. The coat looks new.

I LOOOOOOOVE this jacket so much I wish it was available for adults. It has a hood that actually stays on, the color is great and it will last many seasons. It is light and flexible but still warm!

It’s a very nice jacket indeed. It’s light, warm, cozy and beautiful. It has enough room for the baby to grow into it. We love it!

These jackets are great. Very well made, not too heavy, but warm and cozy. They are very easy to spot clean.

I am overjoyed that this jacket is working out so well! I purchased size 86/92 (12-24 months) for my 14 month old daughter. My daughter is in the 50% percentile for both weight and height, therefore I guessed that the size I ordered would be a bit large on her. I was correct, but I am pleased that we will easily get two years out of this beautiful jacket. I simply roll the sleeves up for my daughter right now and make sure she has an extra layer on underneath if we will be outside for an extended period of time. I love the extra length in the back and how warm this jackets keeps her! We do not use this in the car seat as it is much too bulky. So far the coldest it has been here in the Chicago region is 25*F and my daughter has been TOASTY warm. I agree with a previous reviewer who said the gray color has a brownish heather to it.

I purchased this jacket for my 22 month old, who is of average size. I purchased the 2/3T and I believe that we will be able to us it this year as well as next. Right now we roll up the sleeves and the hood is of a generous size so it doesn't seem to fall down. I would definitely recommend this jacket. I'm not sure about the warmth yet, as it hasnt' gotten very cold here.

This jacket is so cute! My daughter is very tall for her age (she is in the 95 percentile) and still, the jacket fits her well. She picked the berry color, and it is really pretty. I can't wait for her to actually use it this winter.

Great quality that will last for long time.

I bought a size too big on purpose. And it fits exactly how I wanted it to.
It keeps my kid SUPER warm (coldest he has been out in it is about 25 degrees F) and is really soft! I feel like I will have this coat for a lot longer than my kid will fit in it. Really amazing quality!

We purchased this jacket last winter for a stint in North Dakota before moving to Montana, all very cold climates. It definitely keeps my little girl warm, especially when layered with more wool underneath! The sizing runs very large in my book. We got the 6-12 last year and she's now 22 months old and still wearing it with room for layers. Though I am about to get the next size up. It's so soft and easy buttons for her plus a loop she can hang it up with. The inside has a bit of soft cotton lining. Hood always stays on. Looks superb and does the job. Will pass down to the next baby too!

We haven't worn this yet other then to try it on but I must say the craftsmanship of this coat is top notch. got the 12-24 for my 10 month old for this winter and I think the sizing will be perfect. The gray color has a brownish heather to it and is really a flattering color.

I like the coat and my 3 yr old likes it too. I expected a little thicker fabric but it seems to be warm. I got a 4-6 yr size and for a thin 3 yr old child in 75 percentile height it fits fine even now (just long sleeves). I gave 4 stars because the collar/hood design is such that the top button pulls too much the fabric when the hood is down. The berry color is beautiful.

This jacket is lovely. I will say I ordered navy because the color looked rich and beautiful online but in reality it's just plain old navy. But still it's well made, not too bulky, generous sizing and cute. I'm planning to use for years to come for all future kids and I think the navy will be a good gender neutral color and dark to hide any dirt or stains. I just love wool and think this coat is darling.

We got this coat in berry for our toddler and it is gorgeous (goes really well with the Hirsch Natur two-tones socks). The hood stays up over a winter hat even when running around! There is plenty of room for layers. The coat is not bulky, but it really holds in the heat. The wool is soft. The buttons are great for small hands. Our little one loves to wear this coat!

Great little lightweight jacket; not at all bulky, but very warm. The hood is nice and deep, so it covers baby's head and keeps his neck covered. The wool is really soft, but seems like it will be quite durable. I purchased the 74/80 size for my 5 month old who is 15lbs and 26" tall; the fit is good and there is still room for him to grow. Love it!

Really sweet jacket - and seems super warm although not bulky. Got the 6 - 12 month size for my 11 month old 16.5 lb daughter and it's really big on her, but not too big to wear, so it will last well. The hood is a good shape and stays on. And the jacket goes over everything and looks great!

The coat is good quality (as Disana never has disappointed me), the wool is densely woven, vivid color (I got it in red). The only thing is, that it is not fully lined, but thats probably for a reason (for wool to do its job and not be diminished by liner's properties). I got it for my daughter in size 12-24 mo, so can't wait to use it this winter.

My son wears this coat almost every time we go outside! He's a large pot-bellied 20 mo old and the 12-24 mo size is starting to get short for him in the front while the sleeve length is perfect- so for us it fits true to size. I do love the longer length in the back and the partial organic cotton lining is DIVINE to the touch.
My favorite thing about the coat is its resistance to staining and dirt (not to mention water)! We have the grey color- Dirt literally brushes right off and EVERY stain has come out with our sheepish grins wool wash bar. The other day he spilled BEET berry smoothie down the front. Came home, rinsed, rubbed the wool wash bar in, let it sit, rinse and GONE!
Least favorite thing about the jacket is that the buttons do come undone fairly easily, which might be great if that's what you want, but for me is annoying as I am often re-buttoning the top buttons. Also, I cannot button the top one if he wears a thicker hat underneath.
We've worn it in the rain, the snow, and warmer temps. Perfect every time!

I bought this jacket for my 18 pound 4.5 month old in the size 74/80 (6-12m). I'm very pleased with my purchase. The jacket fits well now and there is still plenty of room to grow. The hood is perfect size and lined with soft cotton. The blue color looks very cute. The boiled wool is wonderful, soft and warm and washes great. Thank you little spruce organics for bringing such quality German jackets to the US!

We love this jacket. It is adorable, well made, and keeps my son nice and warm. Every time he wears it someone compliments us on it.

My daughter complained that it itches her. Her father washed it without letting me know and shrank it. I wish she could've wore it a little longer.

My toddler enjoys putting her coat on every time we go out and she can do all the buttons by herself. The hood and length of the jacket (especially the back) are just perfect and I don't have to worry about her getting cold sitting on the swing or rolling on the snow.

This coat is lightweight yet warm and water resistant. The wool is soft and silky and the colors are beautiful. The best part is that the back is longer so you do not have to keep pulling the jacket down to cover up exposed skin on the back, the jacket does not bunch up. The hood is constructed so it sits squarely on the head. Wonderful and highly recommended, I had to purchase another coat in the next size up for next winter because we love this coat so much.

I was so pleased to find this store selling Disana products. My daughter is 2.5, tall but slim and the 2-3 jacket fits her well enough where it doesn't swamp her, but will last several years. It allows your child to move around too and is soft and not scratchy. Best jacket for Waldorf parents!

Perfect little coat for layering in the winter. We will be wearing this with a sweater and long underwear when it is really cold, also with the disana winter pants. the boiled wool stays keeps you dry and warm even when it gets wet or muddy. Needs very few washings. Most dirt just brushes off after it dries. Amazing for kids who want to be outside in all kids of weather.

This jacket is The Perfect jacket for a Waldorf or Outside school kiddo! It is lightweight, yet very warm, and is thin enough to fit under rain gear (but, again, still quite warm!). It is very soft, not at all scratchy, and the buttons are nice and big - perfect for those little fingers that are still developing dexterity. Even my daughters teacher (who has been teaching Waldorf for over 30 years) commented on how she thinks all parents should buy their child this type of jacket for school! Runs a touch on the large side, in my opinion. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
