These 100% organic cotton socks are comfortable and breathable- ideal for babies and chidren. These socks are lightweight for year round wear.
Made by Living Crafts of Germany, these socks are 100% organic cotton*, certified organic by the International Association of the Natural Textile Industry (IVN), Demeter, and meets the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Living Crafts' organic cotton is grown and handpicked in Mali and India, without the use of chemical fertilizers during its production and without any chemical additives during the manufacturing. All buttons and zippers are made from chrome and nickel-free metal. All fabric dyes are made without heavy metals or formaldehydes.
Made in India.
*please note that these socks have several small, elastic threads woven into the very top section to hold them up around the ankle. The manufacturer includes these elastic threads because without them, socks made from only natural fibers will not stay up around the ankle. The elastic threads have minimal, if any, contact with the skin. The fabric itself is made from 100% organic cotton (no synthetic materials)*
Sizing: The size conversions we have listed from European sock sizes to approximate US sizes/ age ranges are approximate conversions based on the height and weight of average children for each age range. Please keep in mind that all children are unique and that sizes, especially for socks and shoes, vary greatly. If you need a specific measurement of any particular sock size, please contact us and we will send you an accurate measurement.

I really wanted to love these socks. It is almost impossible to find 100% cotton socks, let alone organic ones. But like all the ones I've tried before these, my baby kicks them off even before I can get his pants on! I have no interest in putting nylon, elastane, polyester, or etc on my baby, but maybe those are needed to make socks stretchy enough to stay on busy feet? These socks do have stretch and are really soft.....so I haven't given up on them just yet.
