This one-size fitted diaper is incredibly soft and made from a super absorbent blend of 45% hemp/ 55% organic cotton.  This trim-fitting diaper features soft hidden elastic around the legs and waist and a snap closure.  The diaper is designed so that no snaps touch your baby's skin directly.   

The diaper includes an absorbent snap-in liner made from 100% organic cotton.  This liner is actually a contour diaper, so you can use this inside of a diaper cover even for small newborn babies.  The liner shapes to the inside of the diaper, which provides more absorbency without adding extra bulk.  For a more trim-fitting diaper, you may remove the liner from the diaper.

This diaper should be worn with a cover in order to be fully waterproof, and any type of cover may be used.

Size/ Fit: This one-size cloth diaper that is designed to fit babies from birth through around 35 lbs.  The fit will be slightly large on a newborn, so we recommend using the snap-in liner (contour diaper) as a diaper on its own when your baby is very small.  As your baby grows, the fit of the actual fitted diaper becomes quite trim.

Care:  This diaper may be machine washed and tumble dried.   Avoid fabric softeners and drier sheets, as they may leave residue on the fabric, causing it to leak.  Like any diaper made from natural fibers, this diaper must be washed 3-5 times prior to use.  This "prepping" process is essential to remove all of the natural oils found in organic cotton, and to allow the fabric to become fully absorbent.   To test the diaper to see if it's ready for use, form a cup in the diaper and pour in a small amount of water.  If the water forms beads, the diaper is not ready to be used, and you should wash it again.  If the fabric absorbs the liquid immediately, the diaper is ready.
