These nursing pads are made from 100% natural schappe silk and have an inlay of organic virgin wool.  Silk has natural healing properties, so these are wonderful for sore nipples, and healing ointments or creams are not needed.  Silk is also very smooth and soft, so these pads feel very pleasant against the skin.  Silk is absorbent and wicks moisture away from the skin, and silk naturally regulates temperature, staying cool in warm temperatures and warm in cool temperatures.
