Keep your baby safe and warm in this lovely merino wool Infant Sleepgown. Features shell buttons at the neck for ease over the head and a drawsting at the hem for easy changing. Nui 100% organic Merino wool is soft and calming against the skin. Silky smooth it does not itch and will act as an insulating layer, ensuring comfort and warmth. This is great for night time because it eliminates the need for loose blankets in the crib, which can be dangerous. We love this sleep sack because not only is it made from wool, but it is much longer than many sleep gowns, ensuring a comfortable fit for your baby.
This sleepsack is part of Nui's BODY Collection- infant essentials in superfine 150gsm organic merino. The 150gsm weight is light, strong, fully machine washable and will maintain its color and shape for years. Soft and sleek it has the appearance of fine cotton – with all the attributes of intelligent merino. Perfect next to a babies skin, this organic merino breathes, regulates temperature, wicks away moisture, is naturally fire resistant with build-in elasticity to move every which way a baby does. Unlike cotton or synthetics, when merino does get wet it stays warm.
Made by Nui Organics, this sleep gown is made from 100% organic Merino wool that is sourced from New Zealand and Australia and is certified organic to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards). It is completely free of harsh chemicals normally found in wool growing that can contribute to wool sensitivity or wool allergy in some people. Nui merino is a natural resource which is biodegradable, sustainable and a renewable resource, growing back year after year.

With the correct care, Nui Organics clothing will last your family for generations. Please be sure to read the care label on your garment for specific wash instructions. In general, we recommend you wash at 30 degrees whereever possible. Many of our garments can be tumble-dried on a cool setting, but we do recommend for nui wool that you lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight. Most of our garments can be ironed on a cool setting. We would recommend that any item with a print on is ironed on the reverse side. Use an approved liquid wool detergent and avoid laundry powders and bleach.
Pilling refers to the tiny wool 'balls' or fuzz that may form on your merino garments with wear. This is a natural process and is caused by short fibers migrating to the surface. These are easily removed with a 'de-pilling' comb and once removed they will generally stop forming after one or two washes.

I like this light weight gown for my son to wear in our family bed. It has worked well on it's own and I plan to put a silk shrt underneath for colder nights (we live near DC with central heat so we dont get super cold). We have the 6-12 mo size and fit it is slim fitting on our slim small 9 mo boy. I'm not sure if the sleeve length will make it to 12 months. Also like that since it is wool it needs little washing.

This is the BEST sleepsack we have tried. It is extra long, and I love that it will grow with her. Great for cooler or warm nights as it is wool and helps regulate body temps. I washed it in Euclan and it smells and feels extra soft. She sleeps like a "baby" in it (11 hours through the night).
Will buy more!
