Made by Living Crafts of Germany, this blanket is 100% organic virgin wool.  The wool is certified organic by the International Association of the Natural Textile Industry (IVN), Demeter, and meets the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).  

Living Crafts' organic wool comes from Australian merino sheep wool sheep which are appropriately bred according to ecological guidelines in Australia. They are fed only organic food without any additives. Living Crafts' organic cotton is grown and handpicked in Mali and India, without the use of chemical fertilizers during its production and without any chemical additives during the manufacturing.  All fabric dyes are made without heavy metals or formaldehydes.
