An essential item during the first few weeks of breastfeeding a newborn, Disana's nursing pads are an excellent alternative to disposable pads.  These nursing pads are made from organic wool sandwiched between raw silk.  Wool absorbs excess breast milk into its inner fibers, ensuring that the skin remains dry between feeding.   Untreated raw silk ools and soothes any irritation that may take place while breastfeeding.  The high content of silk's anti-inflammatory properties offer natural healing of any redness.   We recommend at least 2 pairs of nursing pads so that you have an extra pair available while one pair is being washed.  These nursing pads are available in two sizes (shown below)
