Silk liners are an essential accessory to your cloth diapering collection; they are great to have on hand for the times when your baby's bottom is sore. When your baby suffers from a diaper rash, disana's raw silk liner will soothe and calm your baby's skin. Raw silk contains plenty of natural silk bast, which has an anti-inflammatory effect. The silk also gently cools down the inflamed skin. This is an excellent, natural alternative to a salve or cream.
To use, simply add the silk liner to the cloth diaper alongside the cotton liner, directly next to your baby’s skin. The silk liner should be changed every time along with the diaper until baby’s skin is no longer red.
Available individually or in packs of three.
Made by disana, these liners are made from 100% raw silk. Made in Germany
Size: 45 x 15 cm (17.72 x 5.91 inches)
Care: Silk should always be washed by hand. When drying, avoid long periods in direct sunlight as this can cause the fiber to become brittle and lose its firmness.

these liners do help clearing up redness in the diaper area. We haven't had any bad diaper rashes to test the liners on, but the minor redness and irritation they do treat. Also, I noticed that the liner helps to keep the bottom dry, as it lets the wetness through but the liner itself stays dry. That feature I really liked. I am not happy to wash this liner by hand though and they stain terribly, but that's a minor disadvantage (not worth taking any stars away).

I was skeptical about wht type of help these would be. My little girl has very sensitive and rash prone skin. In her young life she had only had a handful of rash free days. Switching to cloth diapers helped, but she was still struggling with a few problem spots. These little liners immediately improved her skin and finally she had a clear bottom. They are handwash only. However they come clean easy and stains come out in a wash or two. I love them and hope to get a few more to put into my rotation.
