These cozy wool booties are perfect for crawlers and walkers during the cooler months of the year. The booties feature velcro fasteners, making them very easy to put on and take off of your baby's tiny feet. The long shank with sewn-in elastic stops keep the booties from being easily pulled off of your baby's feet. They also feature non-slip soles that keep your baby safe during the early days of learning to walk and crawl on slippery surfaces. These booties are designed for indoor use.
These booties are unique because they are made from disana's boiled wool, which is a very special natural fabric. Boiled wool is soft and light, so it is very comfortable for babies to wear. Boiled wool also protects against cold, is almost entirely windproof, and balances hot and cold temperatures. When wool is boiled, thousands of tiny air bubbles are trapped in by the material, forming an entirely natural barrier against hot and cold temperatures. The result is a fabric that keeps your baby snug and dry while letting your baby's skin breathe.
Made by disana, these booties are made from 100% organic boiled virgin Merino wool. This wool is finely crimped, does not itch and feels soft and cozy against baby's sensitive skin.
Made in Germany
Care: Boiled wool articles are easy to care for. It should be cleaned very gently by hand. The lanolin contained in wool protects the fabric from dirt and harsh environments. If your boiled wool article does get dirty, you can shake or brush the dirt out very carefully. If the boiled wool becomes stinky, just leave the article out overnight to air out, or in the bathroom while you shower (the humidity from the shower will help foul smells to disappear and will smooth out wrinkles). If you do need to wash boiled wool, just wash by hand in tepid water using a mild wool wash. Do not wring, squeeze, or rub wool. Lay flat to dry. You can read more here about wool care. Don't forget your wool care products!

These booties are nice, but not quite what I'd hoped. Despite being boiled wool, they are fairly thin and stretchy. The fabric feels more like a wool knit than I'd expect of boiled wool. Also, they seem to run quite big. I ordered the size 2 and my 12 month old is a LONG way from fitting into them well. She can still wear them but they're so big that they fall off all the time. Unfortunately, the way the velcro is designed, you can't tighten the booties as much as I'd like. The traction on the bottom is nice, though, and they are cute.

They do fall off from time to time but all booties do. These fall of the least out of all that I have owned.

This is a fantastic product and in fact after our use of it, we cannot be without it. Sure enough my son has almost worn them out. We have bought two more as gifts for friends that have just had babies. This far exceeds any socks or shoes for babies: they are comfortable; stay on babies' feet; are adorable; go with everything; and have good traction when my son stands up now that he is learning how to walk.

I bought a pair of these for my son and had to buy a second pair for my newborn nephew. These are soft, they breathe, and they keep baby's feet warm! I found that even when my four month old wore an outfit that covered his feet, they would still be cold after a nap. Just put these booties on over those pajama feet or socks and those little feet will be warm, guaranteed! Easy to adjust with velcro and no red marks! Excellent quality, will be used for future children (boy or girl...we bought the grey ones). These are just precious, would recommend them to anyone! Also, excellent service. I love Little Spruce Organics!

We live in New England, so it is a constant struggle to keep little feet warm in winter. Socks don't stay on, and neither do many booties we've tried. These booties are easy to put on, stay on, and are nice and warm. I really like that they're made of wool, too. I wish they didn't have the painted-on rubberized dots on the bottoms, but maybe I'll be glad once our little guy starts walking.

We couldn't keep socks on our little one's feet. These are warm but also light-weight. The grippy soles will help on hardwood floors when she starts crawling. I'd recommend wearing with socks as the elastic could be felt around her ankle. The double velcro is highly adjustable. I chose size 2 for my 6-month old and they are not too, too big with room to grow.
