NaturaPura is an environmentally responsible company from Portugal that produces baby clothing made of 100% color grown organic cotton, certified by the EU's Eco label.  Absolutely no pesticides or herbicides are used during the production of their clothing.  In addition, NaturaPura uses no dyes on their products; instead, they use the colors provided by nature. 

Organic cotton grows naturally in three colors: green, brown and ecru.  Green: this natural color becomes more intense with washing.  Ecru: the beautiful off-white color you will notice in the majority of NaturaPura's products.  Brown: the color you never knew could be so lovely until you saw it in its most natural state- organic cotton!  Beige: this color is a mixture of brown and ecru cotton.  

Because NaturaPura products are made without any chemical products from the growing of the cotton to the finished product, sometimes the cotton used contains seedpods, resulting in tiny "dots" visible on the garments; this proves that no chemical products were used, even when ginning the cotton.

NaturaPura's products have actually been dermatologically tested- they have undergone a survey in Portugal to assess children's skin tolerance to 100% organic cotton clothing, proving that their organic cotton textiles are not irritative to the human skin in any way.
